Text Box: From Margaret Webb Some members are asking if we will be lifting the water levy. Even though we have had a lot of rain the prediction is still for a very dry hot summer. The water levy is not only to be used to buy water, but also water related products. When the summer season is finished, we will be renewing all the pipes around the four greens at an estimated cost of $15,000 which will in time benefit the club by reducing water usage. The decking project is still progressing and we would anticipate being able to achieve completion within the next quarter. The vote joining the management of both Men's and Ladies bowls state wide was a huge success with 95 clubs or 2 / 3 voting in favor. This was made up 85.5 % for men and 81..9% for ladies On behalf of the Management Committee and myself I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
