Text Box: Triples Champions. Valerie Hardy (Skip), Carole Hannabury and Annette Phayre (Lead) have been making quite a name for themselves within the bowling tournaments. They have won the GDLBA State triples, the Zone triples defeating both Colac and Torquay and will continue their efforts at Bendigo on Jan 21. Good luck ladies. The recent playoff series for the Champion of champions was held recently and a very creditable effort by Valerie Hardy resulted reaching the semi finals. Well done Valerie in carrying the flag so well for our club. Text Box: Ron Stephens and Robin Hayes finished one shot up to win the club championship from Andrew Walker and Darryl Stephens. I believe the lead at one stage was quite larger but a comeback by Andrew and Darryl put some pressure on Ron and Robin to make the finish a close one. Text Box:
